Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VED Saarthi (operated by VED'IAUTODEVOPS CONSULTING SERVICES LLP) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. We believe in clear language and minimum data collection. If anything here is unclear, please email kevalambhramanam@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

Account data — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We do not receive your password.

Conversation data — your chat messages, voice recordings (transcribed to text), uploaded images, and image generations are stored in our database so that the assistant has conversation memory and your history persists across sessions.

Billing data — when you subscribe, Razorpay processes the payment on our behalf. We store the order ID, amount, plan, status, and your email for receipts. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials — Razorpay holds all of that on PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure.

Usage data — we track per-account counters for chat messages, voice messages, image analyses, and image generations to enforce tier quotas. We do not track individual browsing behaviour or run third-party advertising analytics.

  • To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests)

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your conversation content to train AI models.

3. Third-party processors

When you send a message, image, or voice clip, the content is forwarded to the AI provider you selected so it can generate a response. Specifically:

  • OpenAI — for GPT-5.2 chat, Whisper-1 transcription, TTS, and GPT Image 1 generation
  • Anthropic — for Claude Sonnet 4.5 chat
  • Google AI — for Gemini Nano Banana image generation
  • Google — for authentication (OAuth)
  • Razorpay — for payment processing

These providers process your content under their own terms and privacy policies. We pick providers that contractually agree not to use submitted content to train their models for the consumer plans we use.

4. Data location & retention

Conversation and account data is stored in cloud databases hosted by our infrastructure provider. We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete a chat from the sidebar at any time — this permanently removes all messages and attachments in that chat from our database.

You can request full account deletion (including all chats, voice recordings, generated images, and billing history not legally required to retain) by emailing kevalambhramanam@gmail.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use a single session cookie (session_token) to keep you logged in. It is HTTP-only, secure, and expires after 7 days. No third-party tracking cookies are set.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccuracies;
  • delete your data (right to be forgotten);
  • export your conversation history (we'll send a JSON dump);
  • withdraw consent by deleting your account.

7. Security

All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). Our backend authenticates every request with your session token. We follow the principle of least privilege internally. That said — no system is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your account is compromised, change your Google password and email us so we can revoke active sessions.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us their information, please email kevalambhramanam@gmail.com and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Because the LLM providers we use operate globally, your conversation content may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions for the duration of an API call. We rely on the providers' contractual safeguards for this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be notified in-product.
